Why this matters

Sales talent is everywhere — but access to good coaching is not. Reps from smaller employers, those switching into sales, career changers, and those without access to strong enablement face a structural disadvantage that has nothing to do with their ability to win deals.

Access to quality sales coaching has historically been a privilege. Private sales coaches charge £150–£300 per hour. Elite sales orgs run dedicated enablement programmes unavailable to everyone else. Strong networks give some reps insider knowledge — the unwritten rules of selling — that others never learn.

The result is that sales success is influenced not just by ability, but by who had access to coaching. That’s not a fair outcome for reps, and it’s not good for teams that miss out on talented people who simply never got the right development.

AI Sales Mentor exists to close that gap. We give every rep — regardless of background, employer, or budget — access to the same quality of structured, honest, personalised coaching that used to be reserved for the few.

The story

AI Sales Mentor was built around one observation: deliberate practice makes a meaningful difference to sales outcomes — and access to that practice is anything but equal. Reps who rehearse with structured feedback perform measurably better. The coaching works. The problem is access.

The platform started with one question: what would it look like if every rep — first sales job, career changer, returner to work, rep from a non-traditional background — could access the same calibre of coaching as someone with a top-tier enablement team and a private coach? Not generic scripts, but coaching tailored to their exact role, sector, and sales situation — with honest feedback on messaging, voice delivery, and camera presence.

Built with GDPR as a foundation, and committed to keeping the core experience genuinely accessible. Because effective selling has to start with effective practice.
